A place that promotes Healthy Lifestyle

Asleep on the job, isn't that the state of the most of us? Why are we so lethargic at the age of 20? The youth between the age group of 18 and above have many health complaints? They complain about being overworked most of the times and as a result they are always drained out, tired, broken-down and end up being depressed for not being able to cope up with work pressure resulting in complaints of acidity, backache, constipation, head ache, poor vision, lethargy, poor concentration.

Change in taste
Our grandparents and our parents are much stronger then what we are. Complaints regarding health issues have become prevalent amongst the youth. Have you ever wondered, why? Well, since the arrival of the Italian foods like the pastas, burgers, pizzas, the arrival of Chinese food, the introduction of all those new cuisines which the audiences of India are not acquainted with. However, from a regular meal that we Indians are used to, like the Dal, Roti, Sabjee, Chawal, which is the staple diet of the majority of Indians. It’s alright to go for a change once in a while, but when if this goes on a regular basis that is when the problems begin to settle in. Because of trying to adjust with the new set of taste which takes a while for our system to adjust to that kind of food. However, even if we get used to the kind of food that is not of the Indian Origins then there are the aerated drinks like the Coke, Pepsi, without which we cannot proceed with our food. It has replaced water. It’s a compulsory diet in our food. These drinks don’t have any health benefits. At least those cuisines have some vitamins embed in them but the aerated drinks just do not have any health benefits whatsoever.
Let me cite you an example, if a foreigner tries to adjust his tastes according to the spices made in India, he may or may not like it. If he likes it he will eat it on a regular basis trying to adjust his system according to the taste while if he does not but he has no other option other than to adjust itself with the food he will have to go through a lot of churns in his stomach.

Partying without Alcohol and Cigarettes
That is such a taboo! The regular intake of Alcohol, Smoke, Smoking Pots, Joints, forms of Marijuana, which has lost our appetite for good food and a healthy lifestyle. We come across many instances when while partying with friends, it’s a custom for even non-drinkers to carry a glass with them. Otherwise you are just out of the social circle. It’s not very easy to avoid them for they are your friends, and by the time you have begun avoiding them, you are already obsessed with the Alcohol, Cigarettes and Joints and to come out of it is not an easy task. The craving for it is so bad that the more you try to control it, the more you get frustrated and anger and then leading to things that you never thought you would do. For anger, frustration leads to things that only lead to regret. I was astonished when a friend was confronted by a doctor and she had just many good reasons to justify weeds are as good as herbs. Even if they are, she was just unwilling to listen to the doctor when he explained her side effects of having them. Regular consumption leads to schizophrenia at a very early stage, amnesia is the other side effects, the haggard and the dullness that has surrounded your face, these people always look pale. The ecstasy you are encompassed with, the moment you are depressed about something a joint is the only solution.

Imbibing good habits from our Grandparents
For our ancestors always had a daily routine of morning walks while youngsters are still asleep in their bed till late afternoon unless they are assigned to some work. Our grandparents have had a discipline in their food habits which is lacking amongst us. They had a lifestyle filled with discipline while we don’t have discipline with our own lives. They have had ghee while we detest ghee for the reason that it causes fat and since workout can never be included in the schedule ghee are a big no, they detest eating ghee just at all. The work style of our grandparents involved of moving their asses from one place to another. While the generations today sit back with their laptop and get their work done. They don’t have to move around their asses.
The laid back lifestyle
Due to this laid back lifestyle and intake of the junk food, has brought down the age group sufferers of High Blood Pressure, Heart Attack, Diabetes. Shockingly, high blood pressure is common with the 14 year old. Diabetes, Heart Diseases, Tuberculosis and Acidity is a common incidence from just 20 year olds.
Obsession
The silent killer, Youngsters get easily obsessed with just anything. Be it their jobs, their friends, the drinks and joints and if you don’t get them it can easily dampen your peacefulness.

Coming out of it
As easier as it is to get into it and getting acquainted with this lifestyle it’s tougher to come out of it. If the person is really willing to come out of it, then there are many ways. The first thing first is the control, Secondly, if its way beyond your own self or your family member who is helping you cope up with it then there is Rehabilitation Centre where you undergo detoxification where your blood is purified.
If you want to avoid the process of the above then I’d suggest begin today with a morning walk and let morning breeze feel your senses. There is a reason Mt Mohali has greenery surrounded in its area. “It’s never too late to begin”. Boman Irani the famous actor started pursuing his career for acting at a very later stage and if we look at him his acting is cannot be compared. Many movies have been based out of a lifestyle of these sorts. The recent one that I watched was, Denzel Washington’s “Flight”, it is a highly recommended movie for the obsessed.
